Pillar 03 — The Regional Food Node

The Kingdom community.

Join a local movement rebuilding the food system — one farm, one family, one church at a time. The pillar that takes the backyard stewardship of Pillars 1 and 2 and connects it to the local producers, markets, and churches that make clean food a way of life rather than a search.

The who of GSS

A weekend market where the producers behind your food can look you in the eye.

Pillars 1 and 2 are about what happens on your own land. This pillar is about everything that happens off of it — the producers who already do it right, the markets where you meet them, the certification that vets them, the churches that anchor it.

We are building this community-first. Vendors, customers, and pop-up events come before the permanent venue does. The website is the validation engine — every vendor application and customer waitlist signup is signal we use to decide whether and where the permanent market gets built.

The mission layer runs through Genesis. Stewardship of the land was assigned, not consumption of it. And local churches are the natural community centers for clean food and the regenerative ethic — we're building a way for every GSS membership to support local churches in growing clean food. The Tithe Program details are being finalized in a separate doc.

What this pillar covers

Six bodies of work, all answering “who else is doing this?”

The future Good Soil Market

A weekend market in Central Texas where producers who meet the Good Soil Standard can sell direct to families who want food grown the way Pillars 1 and 2 describe. Year-round, weather-proof, family-shaped. Pop-up events are running first; the venue follows the demand.

Good Soil Certification

Producer-direct, no synthetic chemicals on the crop, pasture-raised for animals, real-ingredient-only for value-added products. Two tiers — Good Soil Verified (claims confirmed) and Good Soil Certified (on-site audit). The vetting that turns “says they're regenerative” into “is regenerative.”

Find a Regen Farm directory

Searchable directory of producers who meet the Good Soil Standard. Free, no signup, indexed by Google. Available inside the GSS app and on the public web — built so families can find clean food in their own zip code without having to take anyone's word for it.

The church-garden fund

A portion of every Grower and Steward subscription funds startup grants, seed stock, raised-bed materials, and on-site coaching for churches that want to grow real food for their local community. Hungry neighbors fed, congregations connected to the land they steward.

Pop-up events + the virtual market

Until the permanent market exists, pop-up market events build the community in person and the virtual market closes the loop online. RSVP to the next one. Pre-order from approved producers for weekend pickup.

Producer stories

Profiles of the families running the operations behind the food. The grandparents who never stopped doing it the old way. The young couples who left a city job to do it the new way. The stories that make the food taste like more than just food.

Two on-ramps

You're a shopper, or you're a producer.

Both sides are how we prove the market should exist. Pick the door that fits.

For shoppers

Join the customer waitlist with your zip code. You'll be first to hear about pop-up events near you, the virtual market weekly pickup, and the permanent venue once we've hit the validation milestones.
