Sower

Meet Sower. The regenerative AI grown from real soil science.

Trained on a curated library of regenerative authorities — leading regenerative farmers and ranchers, respected soil-science institutes, ancestral nutrition research, and decades of regenerative practice. Not whatever was on the internet.
A hand resting on bare soil with a digital overlay of soil-data icons — pH, moisture, plant health

One engine. Many modes. All grounded in soil-first thinking.

Sower isn't seven separate apps stitched together. It's one product with a soil-first knowledge base, and different ways of asking it for what you need. Modes ship as they're ready — Conversational Mode opens first, the rest follow.

Why this isn't just ChatGPT

Generic AI gives you a generic answer. Sower gives you the regenerative one.

Most AI tools are trained on whatever was on the open internet — which means the median answer about "how to fix soil" is dominated by synthetic NPK marketing copy, lawn-care chemical brands, and broad-strokes industrial farming. The default frame is conventional.

Sower starts from a different library. Pioneering regenerative farmers on cover cropping. Ranchers who rebuild their land by integrating animals. Independent soil-science institutes on regenerative outcomes. Practitioners of pasture-based grazing. Ancestral-nutrition research. Decades of soil-biology research that conventional ag has spent a generation ignoring.

The result: Sower knows the difference between "USDA Organic" (which regulates inputs but not soil-mineral density) and "regenerative" (which rebuilds the soil itself). It recommends real-ingredient amendments — compost, cover crops, biological inoculants — before reaching for any product. And when a product makes sense, the recommendation is grounded in regen principles, not commission rates.

Every answer cites its sources. You can verify the reasoning. You can keep going deeper. You can disagree and push back — Sower is built to think with you, not to perform for you.

Launching first

The first mode to launch.

Conversational

Coming soon

Ask anything in plain English. Get answers grounded in regenerative authorities.

Type a question — about your soil, your plants, your patch of land, the broader food system. Sower pulls from its curated knowledge base and answers with the sources it drew from. No generic web summaries, no synthetic shortcuts.

Example: 'Why are my tomato leaves yellow at the bottom?' returns a diagnostic walk-through covering magnesium uptake, calcium balance, watering rhythm, and what to look for next — with links to the specific regenerative authorities the answer is grounded in.

Coming next

Four more modes in development.

No dates promised. Every mode below is being built, and the next one to ship turns from gray to green on this page.

Garden Planner

Coming

Tell Sower your zone, your land, and your goals. Get a season-by-season plan.

A personalized growing plan tuned to your USDA zone, your soil type, your space, and what you actually want to grow. Includes companion-planting hints and a phased purchase list, plus specialized planting guides — including a prenatal/postpartum option.

Garden Studio

Coming

Design your garden's real layout, drawn to scale.

A design-and-layout canvas for planning your garden's actual footprint to scale — beds, paths, and plantings arranged so you can see exactly how it fits before you plant.

Soil Test Interpreter

Coming

Upload a Mehlich-3 soil test PDF. Get remineralization guidance.

Logan Labs, Waypoint Analytical, Ward Labs — whichever lab you use, upload the PDF and Sower translates the numbers into a regen-aligned amendment plan for the plants you're growing.

Rotation Planner

Coming

Regenerative rotation for crops, livestock, and both together.

A rotation family tuned to your land: Crop Rotation (multi-year sequences built on cover, diversity, and minimum tillage), Livestock Rotation (paddock moves that build soil through managed animal impact and rest), and — later — Integrated Crop-Livestock on the same ground.

What you get at each tier

How Sower learns

The honest answer about what Sower actually is.

Yes — Sower is built on a large language model. We don't pretend otherwise. The difference is what we do with it: every answer is constrained by a curated regenerative knowledge base, instructed to cite its sources, and prevented from making recommendations outside that framework. When the vault doesn't cover something, Sower says "I don't know" — not the generic web answer.

We update the underlying knowledge regularly as new research lands, new authorities publish, and new vendor partnerships pass the Good Soil Standard. We don't sell your conversations, and we don't train external models on what you ask. Your questions stay between you and Sower.
