Why this isn't just ChatGPT

Generic AI gives you a generic answer. Sower gives you the regenerative one.

Most AI is trained on whatever was on the open internet — so the median answer about fixing soil comes out of synthetic NPK marketing, lawn-care chemical brands and industrial farming. The default frame is conventional.

Sower starts from a different library: pioneering regenerative farmers, ranchers who rebuild land by integrating animals, independent soil-science institutes, ancestral-nutrition research. So it knows the difference between USDA Organic (which regulates inputs, not soil-mineral density) and regenerative (which rebuilds the soil itself), and it reaches for compost, cover crops and biological inoculants before any product. Every answer cites its sources, so you can check the reasoning — and push back.

How Sower learns

The honest answer about what Sower actually is.

Yes — Sower is built on a large language model, and we don't pretend otherwise. The difference is the constraint: every answer is bound to a curated regenerative knowledge base and told to cite its sources, and when that library doesn't cover something Sower says "I don't know" rather than reaching for the generic web answer. We don't sell your conversations or train outside models on them.
